Being
able to create art nourishes my soul, and allows my spirit to soar and become
refreshed as I start each new painting. I am grateful to have been given
artistic talent, which enriches my life in a personal way and brings me an inner
peace.
My sincere thanks go to all my teachers, who have allowed me to explore my talent through the many techniques I was taught.
They were patient and encouraging, and gave me the confidence I needed to attempt new heights and to discover new techniques
that would allow me to grow and enrich my work. I have taken several classes in drawing, watercolor, colored pencils, oils,
mixed media, portraits, and composition and design.
I have studied under Donna Caputo, Sam Hoppe, Nan Klein, Rich Lohman, Jo Miller, Laura Miller, Russell O’Brien, Jan Ramsey,
and Frank Zampardi, all of whom teach at The Villages Lifelong Learning College in The Villages, FL.
I am still a work in progress, and there is much I still want to learn as an artist.
